How to Connect to Bumblebee Wi-Fi Hotspots

In order to use the service, you must have a computer with a wireless network card and a Bumblebee Internet prepaid card.

1. Enable Wireless

The wireless card on your computer must be enabled. Sometimes there is a "hot key" on your computer which turns it on, sometimes you can enable it from the Network Connections control panel as illustrated to the right. Right-click the Wireless Network Connection icon to get the menu as shown.

2. Search for Bumblebee

Once the wireless card is enabled you need to search for the "bumblebee_broadband" network. The easiest way to do this is is by right-clicking the Wireless Network Connection icon and choosing "View Available Wireless Networks".

3. Select Bumblebee

Select the "bumblebee-broadband" connection by clicking on it. Then click "Connect".

When a warning dialogue about security pops up, check what it is telling you, then choose "Connect Anyway" It can take a couple of minutes for the computer to correctly connect to the network.

4. Repair

It is good practice to "repair" the connection to ensure that all the settings are working OK

5. Log in

After connecting to the Bumblebee network, open your Internet browser and browse to any internet page. When presented with a Bumblebee login page type the usernameand password from the back of your Bumblebee prepaid card and push "Continue".

Please note that you need to include the @bumblebee part of the username.

After you have been logged in you will be presented with a page which shows the expiry date and time of your card and the amount of data transfer you have transfered.
