Telekom's Bumblebee services provide prepaid dial-up and prepaid always-on Internet facilities. Access to the services is granted by purchasing a disposable "scratch-off" card. Each card has a username and password which will provide access to either dial-up or always-on internet services. Note that the cards for dial-up services are different to the cards for always-on services. The access number to dial is 141, nationwide. Prepaid cards provide 120 minutes of ad-hoc dial-up access and are valid for 30 days from first use. Each time you dial up, the time you spend online is subtracted from what is left on the card. To see the expiry date and how much time is left on a card you should access http://platy.telekom.com.sb/ and enter the username. A password is not required. Always-on Services Prepaid always-on services can be accessed in numerous different ways; from Wi-Fi hotspots located around the country to ADSL and wireless broadband connections. Look for the "Bumblebee Broadband" logo, coverage maps are available. Always-on access cards are avaliable in the denominations shown in the table below. They will work for the specified time and amount of data transfer from when you first use the card. If you exceed either the time or the data transfer, the card will expire. Please note that the speed of your always-on connection depends on the access method you are using and how many other prepaid clients are attached to that facility at the time. There is no guarantee of a particular data rate for shared services.
